Saying goodbye to my old glasses

Though I usually wear contacts, my glasses and I have had some great times together. They have accompanied me on many adventures and many - hmm, what's the opposite of adventures? I know it's not a word, but I'll settle on 'unwindings' for now. In fact, I am wearing them right now. They have made me feel scholarly, nerdy and occasionally attractive in a naughty librarian kind-of-way.
