Sunday afternoon art
The Saturday night before last, I attended a fundraising Quiz Night and won an Art Hamper.
On Sunday afternoon, my housemate Chris and I did some painting.
It was fun for lots of reasons: there was no pressure to make it look 'good' or observe any type of formal technique, it was an activity that neither of us had done for a long time and it was fantastic to do something purely creative in your house with a good friend on a lazy, rainy Sunday afternoon.
Also, Tori Amos was playing in the background, which always makes an afternoon that much better.
