My eyes have been looking at...

... and my ears have been listening to Green Grass by Tom Waits. I was introduced to this song when one of my crew played it yesterday. The sound in Melb Town Hall was absolutely luscious (thanks to sound wiz Dan) and hearing Tom Waits gravelly voice soar up and hang in that vast, dark space was dreamlike.





I'm so exhausted from cumulative sleep deprivation that I can't write any more for now, but I will say that I'm thrilled by Capturing Fog!

Mood: fresh white sheets, drifting off to sleep to the sound of heavy afternoon rain.
