Learning about photography, one putt at at time

These images, from a golf event I made a DVD for, were taken on a dinky little digital camera. I want to learn more about photography this year. Melbourne is the perfect environment as it's such a beautiful, photogenic city.

I'm really inspired by the photos of a friend of mine with whom I worked on The Sculptor. Apart from being startlingly beautiful and technically accomplished, their images are also imbued with an incredible amount of drama and emotion.

I'm hoping that the photos on my blog will improve over time as I learn more. I plan to build on the knowledge I have gained on film sets regarding lenses and framing.
